COME SEE THE SOUND ----------------------------------------------------------------------- :SELECTAHS OF THE UNDERGROUND: Coastill is a US Drum and Bass artist blending the brass and funk from his city of New Orleans with the raw and classic Bristol sound. Ever since importing his first Full Cycle release at 15, he has been working to bring his sound worldwide. In the USDNB circuit, Coastill has opened for major acts including LTJ Bukem, Matrix and Futurebound, TC, Icicle, Adam F, Teddy Killerz, Trace, DJ Rap, Dara, Gridlok, and more. His first major release, the Casino EP, came out on the legendary Bristol label Ruffneck Ting in 2020 with support from the likes of DJ Dazee, Roni Size, and K Jah. He has another EP due later this year along with forthcoming collaborations. Always pushing the sound, Coastill is also part of the Noladnb collaborative and co-hosts their monthly party Jungle Punch along with Glassy Eye. Jungle Punch aims to support all forms of drum and bass, foster up-and-coming talent, and bring together jungliest from New Orleans and all across the USDNB scene. Glassy Eye is a US Drum and Bass artist, Noladnb resident DJ, and producer out of New Orleans. After years of lugging around synthesizers for bands, he discovered a passion for fast broken beats opening up with a live PA for local DJs like Greenleaf, Atek, and J. Dub’l at Dragon’s Den in New Orleans. It was all cemented when he saw Breakage on his None Shall Pass Tour and Glassy Eye began his DnB journey and mission to grow the local scene. A quick study, he became a founding member of the Noladnb collective which he has helped grow into a nationally recognized staple of the city. As a DJ, Glassy Eye has opened for major acts including LTJ Bukem, Break, Spectrasoul, Fracture, Paradox, Dara, AK1200, Random Movement, Dave Owen, Ben Soundscape & Collette Warren, A Sides, and more. An accomplished producer as well, Glassy Eye has an assortment of originals you can grab now and also has forthcoming collaborations with Coastill and others.
