ROMEOVILLE, IL — The Romeoville Police Department made a series of arrests over the past week and charged local residents with a variety of criminal offenses. Local residents are reminded that all criminal charges do not equate to a guilty finding and that all suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty. ARRESTS Jeromy Brooks, 38, DeKalb, was arrested at 11:26 p.m. on April 29 in the area of Route 53 and 135th Street and charged with driving with no insurance and with an expired registration, failure to wear a seatbelt, disregarding a traffic control device, DUI, Improper stopping in the roadway, resisting a peace officer. Bond was set at $3,000 with 10 percent to apply. Manwell Harris, 43, Romeoville, was arrested at 11:30 a.m. on May 10 in the 100 block of Independence Boulevard and charged with disorderly conduct. Bond was set at $1,000 with 10 percent to apply. Hector Soto, 18, Joliet, was arrested at 11:50 p.m. on May 11 in the area of Dalhart and Corona and charged with speeding and driving with no valid driver's license. Bond was set at $2,500 with 10 percent to apply. Shaquan Meadows, 28, 741 Woodridge, was arrested at 2:27 a.m. on May 13 in the area of Route 53 and Airport Road and charged with aggravated speeding and driving while his license was revoked. He was released on a $2,500personal recognizance. Gvidas Samalionis 20, Romeoville, was arrested at 7:21 p.m. on May 13 in the area of Taylor & Troxel and charged with speeding, driving with no insurance, and without a valid driver's license. He was released on a $2,500 I-Bond. Juan Bernal, 21, Plainfield, was arrested at 11:15 p.m. on May 13 in the area of Route 53 and Taylor and charged with aggravated speeding, operating a vehicle when registration is suspended, disobeying a traffic device, driving while his license was revoked, driving with no insurance, illegal transportation of alcohol, possession of adult-use cannabis in a motor vehicle, in-state warrant, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and obstructing justice. He was Transported to Will County Adult Detention Facility Terrance Patterson, 25, Chicago, was arrested at 4:48 a.m. on May 14 in the 1300 block of Normantown and charged with unlawful use of a weapon. Bond was set at $2,500 with 10 percent to apply. Jeremy Zabrinas, 31, Tinley Park, was arrested at 9:29 p.m. on May 14 in the area of Romeo and Macon and charged with driving with an expired registration and driving while his license was suspended. He was released on $2,500 personal recognizance Patryk Skinderowicz, 25, Romeoville, was arrested at 3:56 a.m. on May 15 in the 400 block of Weber Road and charged with reckless driving, possession of adult-use cannabis in a motor vehicle, and unlawful use of a weapon. Bond was set at $2,500 with 10 percent to apply. Christopher Chapoy, 23, Romeoville, was arrested at 10:17 p.m. on May 17 in the area of Zinnia and Gladioulus and charged with disobeying a stop sign and on in-state warrants. Bond was set at $9,000 with 10 percent to apply. Noor Ajaj, 28, Orland Park, was arrested at 2:56 p.m. on May 17 in the area of Route 53 and Murphy Drive and charged with driving without a valid driver's license. She was released on $2,500 personal recognizance. Kimberly Glista, 46, Romeoville, was arrested at 2:48 p.m. on May 18 in the 300 block of Independence and charged with criminal trespass to property. She was released on $1,000 personal recognizance Jose Jimenez Xelhua, 27, Romeoville, was arrested at 11:54 a.m. on May 19 in the area of Taylor and Wesglen and charged with driving without a valid driver's license and improper lane usage. He was released on $2,500 personal recognizance.
