BUCKS COUNTY, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced several lane closures on U.S. 1 in Bucks County that will begin on Monday and end next Thursday. The single-lane closures and traffic stoppages will take place on U.S. 1, Bristol Road, and Rockhill Drive in Bensalem and Middletown townships. Read all the details below: A single-lane traffic pattern with flaggers will be in place on Rockhill Drive between Old Lincoln Highway and Neshaminy Boulevard from Monday through Thursday. The closures will last from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning for paving and construction barrier installation.Intermittent single-lane closures, with 15-minute traffic stoppages, will be in place on U.S. 1 in both directions between the Route 413 and Neshaminy exits from Tuesday through Thursday. The closures will last from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. for blasting and excavation.Intermittent 15-minute traffic stoppages will be in place in both directions on Bristol Road between Old Lincoln Highway and Neshaminy Boulevard from Tuesday through Thursday. The closures will last from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. during blasting and excavation on U.S.1. Those traveling these roads at these times should make extra time to compensate for closures or find a different route. All scheduled construction projects will be weather dependent.
