Press release from Portland Public Schools: May 16, 2022 May is Mental Health Awareness Month: Information and Resources from PPS Student Support Services While focusing on mental wellness is essential every month, May has been designated as Mental Health Awareness Month. Portland Public Schools is committed to uplifting wellness and to supporting all of our students to stay healthy, mentally and physically. PPS Office of Student Support Services collaborates with staff and community partners to provide a wide range of supports, from our school social workers, school counselors, and school psychologists to our community partners. Resources Your school counselor, school social worker, or school psychologist has information about getting support, or you can always contact the following organizations if you are concerned about yourself or someone else.
