Qualifications: Tile laying Construction Driver's License Reliable transportation Full Job Description Function: Zia Development Corporation is looking for an experienced tile setter and flooring installer HELPER. We focus on delivering quality construction and remodeling for our clientele. We are seeking an in-house helper for tile setting/flooring installation. We want a Tile Setter Assistant that focuses on high quality installations, not sloppy and fast installations. Tile Setter Assistant Duties and Responsibilities: Help mix thinset and mud Pickup materials needed for the job Move materials around the jobsite for the tile installers Clean up jobsite from work Help cut tile Traits: The successful candidate will possess the following traits and capabilities: A strong desire and ability to produce a high quality end-product for our clients Reliable transportation (ideally a truck or van) Be available during normal business hours (Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM) A minimum of 2+ years experience (huge plus, not required) Ability to focus on quality, including cutting in straight lines, paying attention to the small details of remodeling jobs A truck or van capable of towing a small box trailer used for transporting materials to the job site and hauling debris Clean cut, neat, dress appropriately, and have good personal habits Ability to occasionally work late or weekends to complete jobs in a timely fashion Dependable, loyal and trustworthy Location: Job assignments will be anywhere in the 8 county area, but centered in the San Antonio area.
