Description A field supervisor will oversee day to day operations of mowing, irrigation, enhancement and chemical applicator crews. Additionally, this position requires the oversight and facilitation of snow removal operations as the demand arises. This is a demanding position requiring logic, critical thinking skills and problem solving skills. Mechanical aptitude is preferred Duties and Responsibilities • Some irrigation repair and maintenance • Training of employees • Some mechanical work on vehicles, mowers, various equipment, snowplows, etc. • Ensuring crews maintain work quality and time efficiency on job sites • Lead snow removal crews and assist with unforeseen issues Education Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent • CLT preferred but not required Other Requirements • Valid, clean Colorado driver’s license • Proficient knowledge of the landscape maintenance industry, 5 – 10 years preferred • Must be able to work 40 to 60 hours per week • Must be able to work weekends and holidays – although we generally don’t, situations occasionally arise where it is needed • Must have a positive attitude with employees, clients, and upper management Physical Requirements • Able to lift 50 lbs. • Ability to stay awake, alert and focused for an extended length of time during snow removal operations
