BAY AREA — A sig-alert was issued for westbound traffic on the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge during Thursday's morning commute. A multi-vehicle crash around 7 a.m. blocked traffic. The crash happened near the toll plaza and brought traffic to a standstill on approaches to the bridge. The crash has been moved out of the way, and the sig-alert was cancelled around 8. Expect residual backups.
