Description

Press release from Upstate Medical University: May 11, 2022 The Power of Us, the Upstate Foundation's annual employee giving program, kicks off this week, giving employees an opportunity to support Upstate Medical University's threefold mission of patient care, education and research by donating to a fund they find meaningful. Power of Us enables employees to contribute directly to a cause that fulfills their philanthropic wishes and benefits Upstate in a win-win partnership. The Power of Us program demonstrates how the Upstate community can all come together, collectively, to address the most critical needs of patients today and tomorrow. The generosity of donors helps fund those areas that are simply not covered by other means. Through the Power of Us, employees have the opportunity to donate to one or more of the 1,000 funds managed by the Upstate Foundation where 100 percent of the gift goes to the fund(s) chosen by the donor. How to participate in The Power of Us: All Upstate employees will receive information about Power of Us through email this week. Donations may be made via cash, check, credit card or payroll deduction. For payroll deduction, pledge payments are divided over 26 pay periods beginning July 1; the deadline for enrolling in payroll deduction is June 17. For even more convenience, employees can use the e-pledge option by going to Self Serve, logging in and clicking on the Power of Us e-pledge button. The following are examples of Foundation funds.
