3 Injured In Fayette Bus Wreck Involving Murray State Softball Team

FAYETTE, AL — The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) said on Thursday that three people were injured and transported to DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa after a bus wreck involving the Murray State softball team. However, around 5:45 p.m. Wednesday evening, ALEA responded to a two-vehicle crash on Alabama Highway 13 in Fayette County involving the team bus and a commercial vehicle. ALEA said a total of 26 passengers were on the bus at the time of the crash, with three of the bus passengers transported to DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa for treatment.
