Paid Research Study! Using Ultrasound to Influence Brain Function

The Fonzo Lab is a team of researchers and clinicians affiliated with the Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin. We are looking for individuals who: Have a diagnosis of bipolar disorder, an anxiety disorder, PTSD, and/or depression OR are willing to be a control group participant and do not have any of these diagnoses. Are 18-65 years old and fluent in English Are willing to undergo MRI and ultrasound (high frequency sound waves) delivered to the brain. Can visit the laboratory several times over the course of a 2 to 6 week period. Participants will undergo clinical assessments, MRI brain scans, and several sessions in which ultrasound is safely delivered to the brain. Financial compensation is provided, control group up to $275 and those with a mental health diagnosis up to $725. All participants also receive free pictures of their brain!
