We’re seeking a Fire Sprinkler Fabrication Laborer dedicated to quality and service to join our team! Job Summary As a Sprinkler Fabrication Laborer you will perform duties related to the fabrication and delivery of fire sprinkler systems. This position also performs other general shop/yard labor as needed. In this position, you will use various machines / equipment in the fabrication process including pipe threading machines, welder, plasma cutters, roll cutters, roll groovers, end-prep machines, and general power tools. This position is an entry level position intended to serve as a stepping stone into a sprinkler fitting apprenticeship. Job Duties Day-to-day duties include but are not limited to: * Pulling materials for use in fabrication * Laying out, measuring, marking, cutting, threading, and grooving pipe * Assembling pipe and pipe fittings for install in the field * Performing welding * Operating a forklift * Loading and unloading pipe, material, and fabricated assemblies * Performing deliveries and job-site clean-offs * Performing various fabrication shop duties such as sweeping, taking out trash, and other housekeeping * Performing snow removal, landscape and other yard maintenance * Performing other general shop/yard labor Job Experience | Job Requirements * 0-2 years previous fabrication and/or welding experience * Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record * Must be able to work the hours of 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and have the flexibility for overtime as required * Ability to use tools/machines/equipment used in the fabrication process * Ability to use a tape measure and accurately measure * Ability to operate a forklift * Must be able to perform physical labor To Apply: Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer
