ETC is seeking a Full-Time Custodial Team Lead to join our Facilities team. We have a first shift opening where you aren’t required to work nights and weekends. The ideal candidates should have a positive attitude, good attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and be able to lift up to 40 pounds. Representative Responsibilities: • Ensures that safety standards are adhered to at all times • Ensures that safe methods and practices are used • Abides by safety procedures, work practice controls, and OSHA guidelines • Ensures that personal protective equipment is worn when required • Cleans assigned buildings • Ensures floors are swept/vacuumed as scheduled • Collects trash daily • Collects recycled materials for pick-up at least once a week • Cleans bathrooms and break rooms daily • Keep doorways, walkways and dumpster areas free of snow and ice • Maintains grounds, loading docs and parking areas • Completes daily check lists when tasks are done • Completing assigned maintenance duties • Keeps supplies stocked • Communicates with each custodian on a daily basis to ensure that they have the needed supplies to do their job • Ensures janitorial supplies are ordered in a timely fashion to guarantee they are always stocked in-house • Ensures cleaning supplies are properly marked and easily reached on the shelves • Stocks break rooms with utensils, coffee needs, paper supplies, etc • Maintains a clean, organized and safe work environment • Ensures cleaning products are properly marked to identify safety risks • Maintenance responsibilities are kept current and corresponding paperwork is updated Team Lead Responsibilities: • Organizes and prioritizes workload for employees on a daily basis with direction from manager • Communicates identifiable problems to management • Ensures priorities are met and jobs are completed on time • Assists the manager in the training of employees including • Orientation of new employees to department • ISO ‘on the job’ training • Training existing employees on new processes or procedures • Personnel duties • Provides objective input on employee performance to manager for use in performance appraisals • Communicates any and all personnel issues to dept. manager e.g. noncompliance with schedule, breach of policy, safety concerns • Ensures employees complete labor reporting sheets • Assists manager in comparison of employee time sheets with established schedules • Assists manager in communicating policies to employees • Other duties as assigned. • Special projects and requests are completed in a timely and positive fashion Minimum Qualifications: • High School diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred • 1-3 years custodial experience • Able to use cleaning machines and cleaning products • Able to maintain tile floors in appropriate buildings • Knowledge of safety procedures • Able to lift 20 lbs • Able to work independently To Apply please click the link below:
