Howdy, Noticed gas prices lately?…. Oh yeah, sore subject I know. I’m seeking some decent used cooking oil (as long as it’s Not too far gone), &/or new Expired oil. If it’s pure trash I’m Not interested. And I don’t need a lot just a few gallons. I’m just supplementing my regular diesel fuel, mixing it w/ pump diesel. Maybe at some point I’ll also use it for Lamp & heater fuel in the winter. So this is NOT full blown biodiesel like u can buy at some pumps. But biodiesel is the 1st thing people think of when I mention it. I call what I make PMDF: Poor Man’s Diesel Fuel. And every diesel engine on the planet will burn this stuff, don’t over think it, simple & it works. I’ve burned 3-4 different oils: used motor oil aka WMO, used ATF/Automatic Transmission Fluid, & now finally some used cooking oil aka WVO. Also burned some very small amounts of sour Low octane gas mixed w/ pump diesel, & new Expired cooking oils. I need to get more decent used cooking oil, it’s a cleaner fuel. Harder to filter in my limited experience thus far. Also trying to find someone else that’s interested, I’m the Only person I know that’s doing it. It’s just a little hobby, nothing fancy at all, very humble. So if you’re interested let’s talk, be glad to show you how to do what I do, it’s Dirt Cheap. NO reason why more people aren’t doing it, it’s so easy & cheap. Just dirty & time consuming, cost is minimal. And we all know gas prices ain't coming down anytime soon, not w/ the way things are; 40 year record high inflation, war & such in the world, Mercy. I’m definitely switching back to a 40% mix while prices are this high. Double Mercy. Every gallon I make saves $5 or more.
