Job Opportunity – Fire Alarm Technician with Information and Communications Services (ICS), in Columbus, OH
Do you have experience installing and troubleshooting low voltage equipment and systems? Do you have experience with Fire Alarm systems? If so, we want to speak with you about our position!
As the Fire Alarm Technician, you will responsible for the installation, maintenance, and service of fire alarm systems as well as Security, CCTV, Access, and Voice systems. Our customers include commercial, industrial, municipal, health care, and other facilities.
This is a hands-on position requiring electrical aptitude coupled with excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills. Other requirements of this position include:
Minimum 1 year of experience installing Fire Alarm Systems
Ohio Fire Alarm license – required within first 90 days of employment
Ability to read and understand the System Integration installation process
Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
Excellent organizational, time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to travel to appointments in Central, Eastern, and Southern Ohio
Ability to pass drug and background screenings, and have a valid driver’s license
