Help! The dog kennels at the Jackson County Animal Shelter are overwhelmed with pit bulls! For two days, May 28 & 29, from 12 to 4 p.m., the adoption fees for all pit bull-type dogs will be reduced to just $50, (Jackson County residents must also pay $25 for a license). No appointment needed on those days. Standard adoption processing procedure remains in effect. If you have been considering adopting a pit bull type dog, now is the perfect time!
