The Manager will be primarily responsible for maintaining equipment & vehicles for all TerraScapes divisions.
Duties:
• Flexibility to work a varied schedule due to business levels & industry demand sometimes including weekend, holidays, evenings, & hours the business is closed.
• Diagnose & fix all company equipment (tractors, trenchers, zero turns, push mowers, small engine hand tools, etc.) except for warranty or major repairs that need to be done by the manufacture or dealer.
• Complete general maintenance (oil changes, fuel/air filters, brakes, fluid changes, etc.) for all TerraScapes vehicles and equipment.
• Keep & maintain current inventory of equipment & vehicles.
• Organize & maintain records of equipment & vehicle repairs.
• Update & keep Director (vehicle GPS) current & up to date with vehicle maintenance.
• Purchase & inventory control of parts inventory
• Check in/out special equipment to crew leaders as needed.
• Work & communicate with Division Managers to determine priority of equipment repairs
• Assists Division Managers & President in development of long-term & short-term goals, employee development, budgeting, purchasing, & training for equipment purchases, maintenance & safety procedures.
• Follows & enforces all safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Other Duties:
• Assist the Division Managers in getting staff in & out when in need or absent.
• Assist Division Managers with training employees how to properly operate equipment
• Assist in interior & exterior shop maintenance to help maintain a safe working environment
• Participates in snow removal processes. May require evening, nighttime, or holiday work in poor weather conditions.
• Aid in other job classifications as determined necessary by President.
