The Maintenance Technician is a “hands-on” position responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of property and units. Duties include but are not limited to general maintenance, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, painting, and lawn care, plumbing and on-call responsibilities.
RESPONBILITIES INCLUDE:
· Schedule and complete tenant and property work orders within compliancy
· Report to front office regarding work completed, referring unusual technical or personnel issues to the supervisor
· Assist with promoting a safe working environment and adhering to OSHA standards
· Assist Fire Marshall with conducting fire inspections and drills
· Assist with ordering supplies
· Assist with the handling of maintenance complaints
· Perform general painting during non-turn periods, general plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair and minor electrical repairs
· Maintain an inventory of tools and equipment
· Participate in on call rotation
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Base Pay Range: starting pay $14 / hour, depending on experience

High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
Driver's License (Required)
CPO certification (Preferred)
HVAC Certification (Preferred)
