Pell Properties is looking for someone to manage the ongoing landscape maintenance of our office building as well as multiple residential properties in the Historic District/Ardsley Park areas. This is an independent contractor position.
A wide range of tasks will be requested. Some examples of that work will include:
- minor mowing/weed eating at residential properties
- regular maintenance of flower beds including weeding, laying pine straw, and supplementing plants as needed
- ensuring the water systems work properly
- maintaining the few flower pots on two properties
- trimming/cutting back plants as required/requested
- weeding the sidewalk and parking lot area of the commercial space
- bagging leaves/sticks
Must be efficient, have good attention to detail, and a vehicle of your own to pick up straw bales/plants when needed. Weekly time requirements are relatively small. Seasonal transitions require a bit more time, but none of the properties are extensive. Traditional chemical weed and brush killers will not be permitted.
