Construction Superintendent Established +25-year-old concrete company, looking for very strong supervisor to manage field crew of large\commercial concrete project(s) in Charlottesville, Virginia. Candidate: • Must have minimum of 10 years concrete experience. • Must have 5 years of construction supervisor experience. • Experience with concrete walls and elevated slabs is a major plus. • Must have very strong organizational, mathematical, computer and communicator skills. • Spanish speaking, safety, and ACI certifications are major pluses. • Read plans, specifications, contracts, etc. • Must be a US citizen. • Must have GREAT references and a clean background to work on secure military sites. Responsibilities: • Organize, control, and manage every aspect of what it takes to run a successful concrete project. • Must manage crews and foremen as needed. • Interact and maintain relationships with general contractors. • Experienced in general layout and establishing controls. • Extremely aware of quality controls at all times, for all aspects, including the overall means and methods of the project. • Daily scheduling of manpower, equipment, tools, materials, etc. • Needs a very good knowledge and experience in concrete mix design, forming walls, concrete curing, etc. • Must be extremely safety-oriented!
