A successful candidate will be a self-motivated, detail-oriented, and trustworthy individual with a solid work ethic and positive attitude. This is a hands-on position that requires heavy lifting, bending, kneeling, stooping, and being on your feet while working. Experience in natural stone and quartz fabrication is a plus. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: -Set up, adjust, operate, load & unload machines in a safe and efficient manner -Load program for the job being cut, ensure accuracy -Use the overhead crane to load/unload large pieces -Remove scrap pieces by hand -Monitor and maintain the machines to ensure it is operating properly -Perform visual inspections of equipment with complex parts -Inspect each item before and after machining to ensure quality and specifications -Communicate and document material defects, quality issues, job completion, etc. Required Qualifications: -Reliability and a strong work ethic are crucial and fundamental qualities of our team members, the ability to get a job done while working independently on most tasks but also embracing team problem-solving approaches to overcome obstacles. -Dependability is also a fundamental key to success. Team members need to count on each other to arrive at work on time, have few absences, be respectful to each other, and be willing to go the extra mile when needed and help each other out. -Must be able to demonstrate your ability to lift tops, accurately measure, read and interpret prints/shop drawings, use angle grinder, saws, and other hand tools, etc. -Heavy lifting (100+ lbs.), kneeling, crouching, reaching, grasping, standing for long periods of time, and other physical demands as required.
