Agree with all of it, but you won't see much of it here.... See, the Berklee-level musicians who are in it to turn a profit will use the paid professional websites, and read the CL ads for amusement-- and the (very) occasional real opportunity. What generally shows up here is postings from people who are convinced that:
A) Endless unpaid rehearsal and lame originals are the stuff of stardom and riches.
OR
B) They've had the career outside of music, the wife, the mortgage, the kids, and now have time in retirement to revisit the music they somewhat regretfully had to give up long ago because the aforementioned circumstances dictated it.
