The Supervisor supports the Site Manager in overseeing all Janitorial Operations for his or her respective client Accounts. SCHEDULE: 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday 10pm-6:30am Must have their own vehicle Availability morning and nights plus one weekend day Holidays: No holidays off unless approved by manager. Holidays will be paid at time and half rate. BENEFITS • Full Health Insurance Provided • Personal Time: 8 days per calendar year, to be prorated based on hire date. • Vacation: 1 week of vacation hours after 1 year 2 weeks of vacation hours after 2 years 3 weeks of vacation hours after 5 years 4 weeks of vacation hours after 10 year SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: · Reports Directly to Site Manager · Emergency Response · Available on call 24/7/365 (Cell phone) · Must be able to cover for Management with any emergency 24/7 · Provides quick response to calls · Work Management &: Quality Control · Love the look and smell of clean, be detail oriented, preferably with facility cleaning experience. · Assists in the development and implementation of systems for inspecting and managing the quality of housekeeping services provided and the achievement of departmental productivity objectives. · Responds quickly to client requests/complaints in a friendly manner. Relays appropriate requests or complaints to appropriate subordinate or manager. Follows up to ensure client satisfaction. · Assists management conducts training classes regarding safety, security, department procedures and service guidelines. · Assists in scheduling staff’s work schedules and duties. Monitors staff. · Provides a professional image at all times through appearance and dress. · Works with Site Manager to manage both planned and unplanned project work or Performs work as required. · Inspects work performance according to schedule. · Inspection report done daily. · Count key at end of shift to ensure they have all been returned. · Client Interaction · Communicates directly with client representatives when Site Manager is not present. · Provides accurate information for reporting as required to both clients and DRB. · Develops quality relationships with clients, assuring contract longevity and increased revenues. · Communication with Management · Communication is to be kept to work and task related topics. Further discussion or complains about other supervisors, management process or procedures will result in termination. · Concerns or complaints are to be brought to Account Manager or Human Resources. · Attendance/Schedule: · Supervisors are to be on time for their scheduled shifts; tardiness is not allowed. · Warning will be issued for Tardiness. · If out due to a medical issue you must provide doctors note in order to return. You will not be allowed back to work without note. · Vacation is to be scheduled in advanced and approved by Site Manager and DRB Human Resources department. · Supervisors are to clock in and out per their schedule along with completing sign in/out sheet. Result of not doing either will be grounds for suspension leading to termination. · Wages: · Discussing and complaining of wages to anyone is grounds for termination. · This is a fixed contract so the rates are clear, no increases will be made out of the contract. · Supervisors task: · Work logs are to be done nightly. · Review of sign in/out sheet of employees is to be reviewed nightly. Any issues are to be brought to Site Manager immediately. · Manager's office is to be clean and organized at all times. · Reply to work request from Site Manager daily. · Report any incidents or disciplinary actions right away to Site Manager. · Dress Code: · Cleaning Staff is to be in complete uniform prior to signing in. If not please discuss attire, if proper attire is not available employees are to be sent home for the night and management is to be called. · Supplies · Fill out supply log weekly · Equipment Inventory and Repair · Inspects equipment · Report any repairs needed to Site Manager. · Training · Trains employees in operations, work process, proper equipment usage, safety, client requirements, code of conduct, company ethics, and customer service as required. · Note: This is a hands-on supervisor position. Other duties as assigned by management As well as the above tasks all DRB employees should work to: Establish and maintain an effective and credible relationship with management and employees; work to increase revenues and profitability throughout the company; work closely with management to provide support, planning and problem solving; and foster open communication with management and employee population. As well as respect confidentiality in discussing client, staff, and organizational matters, maintains confidentiality of organization fiscal and personnel related information, and promptly, accurately, professionally and courteously receive telephone calls and visitors; assess received calls, and direct/record and relay messages.
