We are in search of a dedicated working professional with functional knowledge and experience in the construction and property maintenance field. The right candidate will possess: - A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Some professional education or certificates, like those provided by OSHA and the EPA, would be ideal but will be provided for the right candidate. - A valid driver’s license issued by a United States state or territory, or one which is transferrable to Massachusetts. - The ability to obtain a medical exam by your Primary Care Physician in order to operate a 6-wheel dump truck. - The ability to lift and carry loads up to 50 pounds. - Some knowledge and experience in modern construction techniques and requirements is a plus. - Some knowledge and experience in home maintenance, though specialized training will be provided. - Some knowledge and experience in Real-Estate purchases and sales is beneficial, though not required. - A willingness and hunger to learn, grow, and train with us. - Ability to work as part of a team or independently, depending on the task at hand. - Ability to listen to tenants concerns and discuss solutions in order to resolve issues timely and efficiently, while coordinating with the manager to ensure tenants are aware of any potential work that could be billable. - Able to work 40 hours a week, Monday-Friday or Tues-Saturday, as well as partake in a rotating weekend/night/holiday on-call schedule for emergency maintenance calls. Compensation will consist of a negotiable hourly rate of $17.50-$27.50 for the right candidate, as decided by your skill level, experience, knowledge, personality, and several other factors. We provide paid vacation annually, depending on several factors, after the probationary period. We also have 8 paid holidays per year. Hours worked over 40 per week will be paid at time + ½.
