A small boat repair company is seeking 20 Painters/Blasters and Apprentices for their team. APPRENTICES: will be provided with on-the-job training and supervision. You will be required to perform work in the preparation, painting, finishing, and maintaining of a wide variety of interior and exterior surfaces and sometimes in inclement weather. Work semi-independently at a satisfactory pace while producing a high quality of work. Must be able to follow instructions, work safely and learn quickly. Customer-oriented personality is key. Remuneration is dependent on experience and skill level. PAINTER/BLASTERS: Preparation of all surfaces; interior and exterior, proper phases of preparation, and material usage, including calking, puttying, sanding, and protecting surfaces. Painting of all surfaces interior and exterior, correct coating methods, and material use. Operate, clean, and maintain all painting equipment. Erects scaffolding, rigging, and ladders safely. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: -Operate and use required tools and equipment skillfully and safely -Perform heavy physical labor -Climb ladders and scaffold -Wear & use respirators when necessary -Follow Instructions, work safely and learn quickly.
