***THIS IS NOT A FAKE AD WE ARE TRYING TO FIND A GOOD HOME FOR OUR DOG STOP FLAGGING FOR REMOVAL***
We have an ~8 month old Great Pyrenees named Yeti who we got to guard our chickens. While he does an excellent job, he has unfortunately proven to be a bit more than we can handle in terms of being able to be trained. He is a very friendly dog so no worries about being vicious, though he does like to jump up to say hello which can be a bit much, he doesn't know his size. The other issue we're facing with him is chewing on things he sees us using. Despite these relatively normal puppy behaviors, he would be a great livestock guardian and family dog for someone who has the time to devote to training him a bit more. He was raised primarily outside and currently only stays outside on an electric perimeter and also in a 10x10' kennel at night, separate from the chickens. Probably about 100lbs at this point and still growing. We aren't thrilled about the prospect of re-homing him, but the cons are starting to outweigh the pros for our family. And I think this goes without saying, but we want to make sure he goes to a good home where he can be happy. please email if interested, we are asking for a re-homing fee. thanks!
