This is the only event dedicated to crowd-based innovation in K-12 education, bringing together education leaders from across the country in order to share best practices and new applications for crowdsourcing in education. It is also an opportunity for education leaders to provide updates on top ideas and resulting innovations. Registration includes a two-day program (continental breakfast, lunch, and snacks), K-12 education best practices for crowd-based innovation, design workshops, lean prototype and testing, and communication strategies, as well as access to your own test site on "VOICES", CatapultEd's idea and innovation management platform. Topics include: Innovation Leadership - What does it take to become an innovation leader? Tap into the mindset needed to see potential all around you. Why Crowdsourcing? - Hear inspirational stories of the big and small ideas that come from frontline staff and students #TalkDataToMe - Learn how crowdsourcing reveals "quick wins", themes and prioritized ideas from stakeholder data "Bias Towards Action" - Discover strategies for moving ideas through a design process in order to create lean prototypes for testing Educators Have Pipelines Too - Explore the power of idea and innovation management software with your own project pipeline Crowd-based innovation in education is a unique approach to creating sustaining innovations in an education organization. Crowdsourcing provides greater depth, context and understanding of topics, and surfaces the best solutions based on the collective wisdom of the crowd, allowing leaders to make decisions that are aligned with the needs and priorities of stakeholders. Come join an innovative group of education leaders from around the country to learn about crowd-based innovation and best practices for this model.
