Jasmine will be graduating from Kindergarten on June 3, 2022, and we would like to recognize Jasmine for all of her hard work, significant progress, and bravery as she navigated a new school, new teachers, and new friends this past school year. Jayden will be graduating from Bowie High School on June 3, 2022, and we would like to also recognize him for his achievements. Jayden has been through a lot in these last 4 years and to my surprise, he is coming out on top and I couldn't be more proud. From being diagnosed with epilepsy to no longer being able to play his favorite sport (football) to trying to find a new place in life. As Jayden struggled to manage his health challenges, he was able to join Civil Air Patrol (CAP) and in doing so, we gained an extended family that only God knew we needed. Jayden quickly got engaged and ranked up to become Great Start Flight Commander, Cadet Staff Sergeant Briggs-Belt. Jayden also joined the Bowie Highschool Track and Field Team where he is now ranked 2nd in the county and 2nd in the region for Triple and Long Jump. Last but not least Jayden managed to finish highschool on Honor Roll with a 3.5 GPA and we could not be more proud. Jayden is headed into the next chapter of his young adult life as a Morgan State University Bear!!! He is super excited and so are we.
