We're giving away stuff! Toys, clothes, books/media, housewares, electronics, furniture -- it's like a big yard sale, but everything's FREE! On Saturday, May 21, for the twelfth year in a row, Sawyer Hill EcoVillage in Berlin will be celebrating the environmental holiday Give Your Stuff Away Day by, well, giving away stuff -- basically anything you might find at a multifamily yard sale, but all totally free! (Giveaway hours will be 9 am to 1 pm.) We'll lay out our free items at designated giveaway areas outdoors. If it rains lightly or rain is threatening, we'll consolidate items under canopies or a porch roof, again outdoors. If heavy rain or severe thunderstorms are expected, we'll postpone; PLEASE check for updates at http://mosaic-commons.org/gysa-2022 . Note that with COVID rates high in our area, we'll continue with pandemic rules to keep both visitors and residents safe. (Basically, wear a face mask -- yes, it's outdoors, but some spots can get crowded -- and maintain distancing from people not in your group.)
