The Pirates and Princesses Boating Adventure is a treasure hunt offered by Sailing Heals for kids with cancer and their families.
Aye, matey! Are you ready for some fun?!?
The Pirates and Princesses Annual Boating Treasure Hunt is back, and offers a pirating adventure for kids with cancer and their families on the 'high seas' of Marblehead harbor. This free event for kids 3-12 and their families offers the opportunity to search for treasure around the harbor onboard locally owned boats.
The day will be filled with costumes, 'tattoos', drawing, chanty songs, and games, with a buffet lunch (or bring your own picnic) outside at the yacht club after the treasure hunt.
Founded in 2011, Sailing Heals is a non-profit organization offering a rejuvenating day at sea for patients and caregivers navigating cancer. Note: Pirates and Princesses in mostly on powerboats and is not a sailing event.
For this event, we anticipate 2 families per boat. Mask wearing is suggested. There is a boat ramp down to the dock and a few single steps to reach the boats. All efforts will be made to provide more accessible boats as needed - please note any mobility requirements in your registration.
