We are celebrating Juneteenth in Kiley academy middle school. I have a group of a 6th-grade students interested in meeting our community Hello Springfield Community, I am excited to announce that The Academy of Kiley allows visitors to come and work with our students. That means we can network with some community leaders and host events at the school building. I am hosting a Juneteenth event to celebrate and educate our urban students about the African American actual free day. In doing so, I am hosting a career day for a group of 6th graders, and I am looking for those interested in coming to speak with my group. I am looking for entrepreneurs, musicians, artists, and community leaders interested in sharing their stories with ten students. You would have an hour to meet and work with students. I am looking for those who would like to work on projects for their business. That means you will be hands-on with the children. For example, I do tattoos, so I am bringing extra henna ink to teach the children how to create their tattoos. I will be an extra hand for support. If you CAN'T COMMIT, please do not sign up!
