Fivesparks and The Harvard Schools Trust present a screening of "Alaskan Nets," a documentary directed by Harvard's own Jeff Harasimowicz.
Alaskan Nets is an award-winning film that captures the unwavering love and passion of two cousins who live in Alaska's last native reserve, and who lead their Metlakatla Chiefs' quest for a repeat of a high school basketball championship last earned in 1984. Directed by former Harvard resident Jeff Harasimowicz, Alaskan Nets brings viewers into the lives of its two stars, cousins Danny Marsden and DJ King, as they navigate between their hoop dreams and their responsibilities to their family's traditional fishing business.
