PORT CHESTER, NY —The polls have closed and the votes have been tallied. The unofficial results are in. Here's what the voters decided in the 2022 Port Chester school budget election. The Port Chester School District 2021-22 budget passed by a wide margin. The budget is $ 125,982,994 with an 8 percent increase over the 2021 -2022 spending package. School officials said the tax levy will increase by 0 percent. There were a total of two school trustee seats up for election; one seat will be for a three-year term and one seat will be for a one-year term. The winning candidates are: George FordChrissie Onofrio
