Description

NORTHPORT, NY — Miracle, a 3-year-old girl, is the Northport Cat Rescue Association's Cat of the Week. Miracle lived in an apartment complex with other cats, said Lora Wild, a volunteer with the cat rescue. "When the kind lady that fed her had to move she thought another tenant would take care of her," Wild said. "When she went back to visit, the tenant told her she could no longer care for Miracle. Thankfully, the kind lady scooped her up and took Miracle with her and reached out to Northport Cat Rescue for help." Miracle is such a sweet cat, according to Wild. "She had some uncertain beginnings but holds no grudges. Although she was shy at first in our habitats, she always welcomed kind words and affection from all of our volunteers. She loves to be brushed and gives the best cat hugs ever." She has shown interest in other cats, and even when hissed at, doesn't get mad, Wild said. "No matter if it's her first meeting or 10th, she will gladly give you the best face nuzzles. She is definitely in the running for one of the most affectionate cats ever. Miracle wants nothing more than to get love and show you love all the time. She deserves stability and a home to call her own for probably the first time in her life. If you are searching for a Miracle…here she is!" Miracle is spayed, has all her shots, is litter box-trained, and micro-chipped and FELV/FIV negative. If you are interested in meeting Miracle, you may head to the Northport Cat Rescue website and fill out an application to let them know you would like to meet her or any of our wonderful kittens and cats! Or you can call NCRA at 631-606-2631 or email [email protected]. Miracle, a 3-year-old girl, is the Northport Pet of the Week. (Courtesy of Northport Cat Rescue Association)
