LINDENHURST, NY — Residents in the Lindenhurst School District have approved a 2022-23 school budget by a margin of 1,566 to 793. In addition, the proposition to vote on expenditures from the capital reserve fund to finance projects for improvements to Lindenhurst High School has passed by a margin of 1,636 to 686. The $177,638,786 budget has a tax levy of 1.85 percent, within the state's tax cap. Lynn Aniello, Edward Langone and Philip Renna, won seats on the school board. The school board vote breakdown: Linda Anielleo (incumbent) — 1,146 votes; Janine Ega — 1,108Jacquelyn Herig (incumbent) —1,151; Philip A.
