The 35th Annual Pilipinx Graduation celebrates all graduating Pilipinx students at UC Berkeley. The Pilipinx Graduation is an annual event hosted by the Pilipinx Academic Student Services (PASS) at UC Berkeley to celebrate the graduating class of both Winter 2021 and Spring 2022 of their beautiful and wonderful accomplishments. Pil Grad serves as an opportunity for the graduating class to thank the community for all the support given to them and for graduates to pass down knowledge and advice they’ve gain from their time at Cal. This ceremony is open to both undergraduate and graduate students at UC Berkeley. Also, our theme of this year’s Pil Grad is… Liwanag. Liwanag, which translates to “Light.” In this year’s theme, we take on both meanings of light. As you graduate from Cal, you will be bringing light to your next chapter of your life wherever it may be, and, we offer that you take your next steps lightly as you venture out after graduating.
