Join us as we reach outside of the 1000 Words Gallery walls and into the Near Eastside community. WHEN: Monday, May 23, 2022 10am-1pm and Thursday, May 26, 2022 6pm-10pm WHERE: 2629 E SAINT CLAIR ST. INDIANAPOLIS, IN 46201 AGE: Open to All TYPE OF EVENT: Community Garden Cleanup CONTACT: Chris Smith ([email protected]) NOTES: We are reaching outside of the 1000 Words Gallery walls and into our community. Offering the residents of the East 10th Street community unique interactive opportunities to view and engage with the Arts and in new, environmentaly conscious ways. With your support, we will be able to turn our newly acquired land into a neighborhood Arts Garden fully equipped with a book box, flowerbeds, a space for outdoor workshops and mural walls. Our goals are simple, we want to give the community a space to discover how beautiful nature is and how they can create beautiful things in sustainable ways.
