Help us celebrate the thoughtful leadership of Joe Adame with a toasty roast and a special exhibition softball game featuring LCCA Alumni! There's no better way to describe Joe Adame (LCC 6) than Everybody's MVP... an All-American Good Guy... Mr. Apple Pie himself. Whether through his fantastic career as a commercial real estate broker in the Coastal Bend, a leader in civic and religious organizations, Joe has always stepped up to the plate. As a beloved former Mayor of Corpus Christi, Joe's quiet and determined leadership brought significant and much-needed change for our city. But he's always had a special place in his heart for the SEA District, Whataburger Field and the Corpus Christi Hooks. Taking Joe's big heart and love of the game inspired LCCA to combine a good, ole-fashion All-American roast with a good, ole-fashion exhibition softball game to honor good-ole-All-American Joe Adame. Standing by to roast good ole Joe is Mark Scott (LCC 17), Gabe Guerra (LCC 37), Rudy Garza, Jr. (LCC 38), and Chris Adler (LCC 16). They'll pitch out some light-hearted zingers to show Joe just how much we care. LCCA Alums have signed up to keep the fun rolling with a three inning exhibition softball game. Team Joe vs. Team Roasters guarantees an evening of excitement and hilarity. Each inning will be timed at 20 minutes (or three outs -- whichever comes first!!) The roasters will present in between innings. and we'll end the evening with Joe's Rebuttal and a special fireworks show to close out a spectacular celebration. The LCCA Roast of All-American Joe Adame is presented by AEP Texas. All proceeds from this event benefit Leadership Corpus Christi. Leadership Corpus Christi is a training program for emerging and existing leaders that builds the needed skills, knowledge, motivation, and vision to develop a stronger community.
