Trees & Me, Growing UP Wild, and Getting Little Feet WET! BRING YOUR OWN LUNCH! Partnership with Nebraska Forest Service and Nebraska Game & Parks Increase the quantity and quality of the experiences your children have with nature by attending this new workshop. Connect your little learners and the nature in their neighborhood using two award-winning environmental education curricula designed for youth ages 1-6. Participants will receive a copy of ALL THREE curricula, a certificate for 6 hours of in-service credit, and the background knowledge to implement these hands-on heads-on experiences in their work with youth right away! NEW! "Trees & Me" is designed to provide opportunities for young children to experience nature, with a particular focus on trees. It provides fun experiences to explore elements of nature, both indoors and outdoors. Growing Up WILD is an early childhood education curriculum that builds on children’s sense of wonder about nature and invites them to explore wildlife and the world around them. Through a wide range of activities and experiences, Growing Up WILD provides an early foundation for developing positive impressions about the natural world and lifelong social and academic skills. " Getting Little Feet WET" contains 11interactive, hands-on activities for young learners to explore different aspects of water. From water properties to water sounds there is something to engage every child.
