Press release from Waukee Community School District: May 17, 2022 Prairieview students Max Ziegemeier (Bari-saxophone) and Maylee Kohler (flute), joined Timberline students Tyler Chervenka (clarinet) and Lucy Nurre (tuba) in the All-Iowa 8th Grade Honor Band on May 12! They auditioned and were selected to perform in November 2021. Each student was required to prepare with a high level of musical independence and musicianship on their parts. We are so happy for all of these musicians and it shows great representation for Prairieview, Timberline and our band program. Congratulations students, and thank you for your leadership!
