MANASSAS, VA — Michael Edward Wilmer, a 34-year-old man from Manassas, is missing. Authorities said that Wilmer made concerning statements to officers and family members before he went missing on Wednesday. The police department said Wilmer was last seen near his home on Leland Road in Manassas on Wednesday. Authorities said Wilmer is missing under voluntary circumstances, but he is considered endangered because he may be in need of assistance. The police department described Wilmer as a white man with brown hair, brown eyes and glasses. He is 6 feet, 2 inches tall and weighs about 180 pounds.
