Intro to Modern Calligraphy! Come spend some fun time learning a new skill! Are you a bride (or a bridesmaid) thinking about working on your own wedding invites? Have you always wanted to try something fun and different, and add a special touch to yours or a loved one’s wedding or special event? Come join me in Del Mar for my Intro to Modern Calligraphy workshop! In this 2.5 hours workshop, we will go through the basic calligraphy strokes, letter form, best practices, and drills. I will also include a list of must-have tools for beginners, nib and ink care information, and lessons for students to be able to practice on their own at home. The best part? this workshop will be right on the beach! We will have an amazing picnic style set up and you'll get to learn a new skill with your toes in the sand. All materials for this class are included for students to practice afterwards. Take everything home and practice later! *tickets are not refundable but are transferable in case you are unable to attend. However, if the event needs to be canceled, you will be refunded the the ticket price for the workshop (minus any fees charged by EventBrite).
