I am rehoming our one and a half year old female alexandrine parrot. Where we live she is just too noisy and the neighbors are complaining. She will be great with someone who has a large property or deaf neighbors. Her boyfriend opened the cage 5 months ago and escaped and she has been lonely even since. Her wings are not clipped as he enjoys a fly around the house. She has a large cage that will go with her. I have tried many things to keep her on the quieter side however with all the local wild birds she likes to talk/screech with them. She talks and is very friendly however can bite. She wants whatever you have and will not leave you alone until it’s gone. She does like to sit on my shoulder when watching tv and enjoys being around people.
