Sephora Will Open At Kohl's In Oswego

OSWEGO, IL — Oswego residents who love Sephora soon won't have to leave town to visit the makeup retailer. A 2,500-square-foot space that mimics the look and feel of freestanding Sephora stores will open within Kohl's, at 2500 Highway 34, May 27. The Oswego location is one of 400 Sephora at Kohl's store openings planned across the country this year, the company said. Nearby, another is set to open in South Elgin on the same day. By 2023, Kohl's and Sephora plan to have opened 850 stores, officials said. At Kohl's, Sephora-trained beauty advisors will offer personalized beauty consultations and help customers find products. Being a smaller version of a freestanding Sephora, the store will have a curated assortment of various products, including favorites such as Rare Beauty, Charlotte Tilbury, Kiehl's, Clinique and NARS. Six beauty brands — Murad, Clarins, Jack Black, Living Proof, Versace and Voluspa — will be added to Sephora at Kohl's offerings this spring, according to a news release. "We're thrilled to be bringing Sephora at Kohl's closer to millions more of our customers nationwide through this 400 store expansion," Doug Howe, Kohl's chief merchandising officer, said in a statement. "The quick and vast rollout of Sephora at Kohl's is a testament to how much we believe in this partnership and making prestige beauty more accessible to people everywhere. We're excited to grow and bring this elevated beauty experience to more of Kohl's existing and new customers this year."
