Our panelists Mark Jackson and Manisha Munikar will discuss the Cultural Etiquette Dos and Dont's for Japan, Napal and other countries.
Mark Jackson is one of just six honorary consul generals of Japan. He is on the board for Sister Cities International and is also serving a third term as chairman of Birmingham Sister Cities Commission.
Since being named honorary consul general in 2014, he has represented Japanese interests in Alabama and played a role in increasing trade opportunities between Japan and Alabama, which has experienced a surge of investments from Japan in recent years. Jackson said his role as honorary consul general and his deep involvement in Sister Cities make him uniquely qualified for the ambassador role.
Manisha Munikar is a native of Napal. She is one of the founding members, past president and current Board Member of AREAA Greater Birmingham. Mrs. Munikar is an Associate Broker with eXp Realty and Co-Owner of BATS & Associates School of Real Estate.
