ROSWELL, GA — The City of Roswell has opened a new downtown crosswalk beacon. On May 9, Roswell Mayor Kurt Wilson and members of the City Council officially opened the new crosswalk beacon on Ga. 9, between Elizabeth Way and Norcross Street. The crosswalk will keep pedestrians safe, officials said. Mayor Wilson said there will be more of these projects coming in the future. "This is where we as a government are going to change the pace," he said.
