SAG HARBOR, NY — Sag Harbor residents turned out to support their students Tuesday.
The district's 2022 to 2023 budget of $45,993,327 passed by a margin of 911 to 197. The budget carried a proposed tax levy of 2.5 percent and was within the tax levy cap.
Voters also weighed in on a proposition authorizing the use of capital reserve funds for districtwide HVAC unit ventilator upgrades at no additional cost to the taxpayer; they approved the measure 961 to 143.
Board of Education candidates Grainne Coen received 883 votes and Ronald Reed, 773.
