Why did 6 RED states stop counting and block Trump's re-election?

If the accusation that 6 GOP lead states deliberately cheated to boot Trump out of the White House, why did they do it and why hasn't any evidence ever been found? There have been audits done in all of the states and not a single one found any evidence of fraud. Does the GOP hate Trump so much that 6 states got together and cheated to get rid of him and elect a Democrat instead? That's the theory conservatives have been spouting for over a year.
