Hello! We are looking to rehome our male gerbil. We got him from PetSmart so we don’t know how old he is or what specific gerbil breed he is. He’s a pretty chill guy and don’t require much maintenance. He loves to burrow, play in the sand, and chew. We’ve gotten him chew toys but we’ve found that he prefers cardboard (ex: toilet paper rolls, cup holders you get from fast food restaurants, etc). We haven’t had him for long so we haven’t really tamed him but he will come up to your hand and sniff you. With time and patience I believe that eventually you’ll be able to pet him and pick him up. He has not nibbled or bit any of us. He will come with his entire enclosure! The tank, the wheel, the stuff you see inside of it, and the other supplies we have for him. He does have a rehoming fee of $175. We want to ensure that he will be going in a good home and will be taken cared of. We are willing to negotiate on price depending on knowledge and experience. At the end of the day we just want him to have a good home.
