Full description General Maintenance / Construction / Skilled Handyman Commercial Property Management seeking a skilled maintenance man to utilizes multiple trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and roofing, HVAC, and other skills as needed to solve maintenance problems This position requires someone who is self-motivated, works well alone and with others with capability to complete day to day duties with minimal supervision. Must be able to multi-task and identify problems as they arise, prioritize tasks. This position requires good physical condition as well as dependability and attention to detail. Ideal candidate will feel confident troubleshooting issues with electricity, plumbing and HVAC. Have an aptitude for fixing and problem solving, following instruction manuals and using necessary tools. Performing a variety of tasks everyday such as cleaning public spaces, picking up materials for projects, managing repair and upkeep. Performing routine room maintenance such as painting, caulking, changing locks, suite turn over, roof maintenance. Perform projects as they arise. Must have knowledge and experience in all of the following fields to be considered for employment: • General maintenance • Carpentry • Irrigation • Electrical • Plumbing • Drywall • Pressure cleaning • Painting • Roofing • Misc general repairs Must have your own tools. Pickup truck or a van is a must. A valid driver's license required. A background check will be performed for all candidates being considered for employment without exception. Drug testing may also be requested. Monday-Friday, Occasional Weekends with on-call rotation Job Types: Full-Time Salary: $15.00 /18.00 /hour based on experience skilled handyman, handy man, maintenance man Schedule: • 8 hour shift • Monday to Friday On-Call rotation weekend and week nights Application Question(s): • This is a hands on position.
