Description

Our family needs help finding our dog a new home as one of my son's is highly allergic to her. We are open to someone wanting to foster her until they can find her a new home, or open to letting her go to someone that can offer her the time, attention and love that she deserves. She is in on a waitlist for the shelter but we hope to find the right fit as soon as possible. She is a cute, loving and submissive dog that is quick to learn and loves to be with people. She loves belly rubs and is crate trained. She knows sit, stay, lay, and leave it. She is about eight years old and house broken, although has had an accident a time or two. She spends most of her time outdoors now since my son can't be around her very much. She is more of a snuggler than a dog that wants to play so would be more well suited for someone wanting a laid back companion. She is not spayed but she is current on her shots and takes a once a month treat to protect her from heartworm. She is healthy, and has never displayed any aggression or anything. She has not been around cats, critters and I'm not sure how she would do around another dog but has been friendly with the ones she met. She was raised around kids of all ages and does well with them all, but she tends to be drawn to older kids and adults best. She tends to have anxiety with thunderstorms and fireworks and car rides. If you would like her food, dishes, blankets, and kennel you are welcome to them. If you see this and know of someone who fosters dogs and can help her, I'd love that. I hate to see her having to be outside so much in this heat but am at a loss as to what to do since exposure to her makes my son's eyes swell shut sometimes. Thank you.
